Produced by our skilled team of fabricators in our own workshops, all of our Jib cranes are custom made to your own exact specifications; we can make your crane to any height and span/reach up to and including 5 meters (4 meters for the 3000kg model) these are our standard size ranges, however it may be possible to extend the reach for special applications upon request.
There are a variety of lifting capacities available – these are 125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 & 3000kg so there is a good degree of versatility within our range to suit a variety of lifting applications.
The Main Benefits of an Overbraced Jib Crane
An over braced Jib crane has a longer hook approach when compared to an under-braced one; For example, a beam trolley will be able to travel across the whole length of the beam, right up to the post/upright column, whereas with an under-braced jib you can only travel up to the beginning of the brace.
The over-brace reaches right to the tip of the jib arm offering more support and stability, in addition it makes it possible to make the crane with smaller section steel which will make it lighter in weight and have a smaller surface area. These overbraced Jib cranes are ideal where maximum reach is a top priority.
The jib arm or boom of these cranes can slew or rotate manually through 270 degrees as standard, this range can be changed by the addition of slewing stops which can make the arm stop in a precise position; this can be very beneficial on production lines where the jib arm will always need to stop at the same location.
Our team of engineers will come and install the overbraced jib crane at your specified location, once erected it will be fully tested to ensure smooth and safe operation and full certification will be issued for your records. The total installation process usually takes just 1 day, whilst the actual time from order to completed manufacture is normally 7-14 days.
Using only quality steel and components during the manufacturing process of our Jib cranes which have been professionally designed complete with load and force calculations you can be assured of receiving high quality and safe Jib cranes.
