Cranes Direct are in a position to offer you special application cranes for those bespoke lifting operations. Special cranes for where a standard type crane will not quite do the job.
Special Application Cranes We can Supply
Our range of special application cranes includes crane systems which go way above standard lifting capacities. We can supply heavy duty cranes and high capacity cranes with lifting capacities exceeding 100 tonne.
The goliath range of portal type cranes and semi-portal type cranes come in a range of lifting capacities . Single girder options come with working load limits from 1tonne up to 25 tonne. Double girder crane constructions can have lifting capacities up to a massive 200 tonne. Portal cranes are probably best suited for outdoor lifting operations. Alternatively they can be used indoors where the structures already in place are not capable of the loads needed. These type of portal and semi-portal cranes can be made with cantilevered or extended beams.
Jib cranes that travel along a wall are another type of special application crane that we can supply. They are fixed arm/boom jib cranes which are fixed to a steel framework that runs along the building structure. The jibs can travel down the full length and as a result provide good coverage. They enable lifting tasks be carried out across the full length of the work place.
Furthermore it is possible to have multiple jibs on one track. This allows multiple lifting tasks to be carried out simultaneously. Furthermore they can be used under other overhead cranes. This will enable you to provide maximum versatility.
Special application cranes are made to measure. This will ensure you receive a crane that fits perfectly in your workplace while providing you with the lifting means. As a result of these special application cranes being made to order they may take longer produce.
